“Company know-how and process digitization? How do you protect an innovative platform?  What tax benefits accrue to software owners? When and why should we patent? What rights are due to the developer? What contractual provisions to watch out for? What to do in case of default? How to defend against competitors?”

The course “Software and Web Platforms: incentives, development, and legal protection” gives you the opportunity to learn the legal rules governing the world of software and web platforms. In particular, practical guidelines – useful to both software houses and companies – will be provided for the management and development of software in the business environment.

The live Webinar will be held in Italian.

TOPICS:

  • Business growth through the development of innovative platforms
  • Software house liability and breach of contract
  • Source code: ownership and custody obligations
  • Patenting and other forms of software protection
  • Registration, economic valuation and tax benefits (calls, innovative start-ups and SMEs, patent box and tax credit)
  • Digitization of business processes and protection of secrecy

To provide answers to recurring questions related to the topic of intangible assets (patents, models, designs, software, databases, etc.), emblematic cases will be discussed. The event includes both the topic of legal protection and summary discussion of tax benefits arising from revaluation, patent box, calls, LLCs and innovative SMEs.
